I know what you mean when you say "voluntarily poisoning my life." Yes, for sure this is exactly what it is. And, right along side of this, I feel like I've been watching you watering and feeding your life. This isn't less true. One more reason to celebrate, Gail--I'm cheering you on.
In my unique way of thinking, I’m grateful that I will return for immunotherapy infusions for another 6 months. I’m told the side effects will be minimal and my hair will grow back. 👍🏻 The clinic staff has become part of my “extended family”. I’m terrible with good-byes… glad I will continue to see them under better circumstances!
“Cancer is so limited… It cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope. It cannot corrode faith. It cannot eat away peace. It cannot destroy confidence. It cannot kill friendship. It cannot shut out memories. It cannot quench the spirit. It cannot silence courage. It cannot reduce eternal life.”
Gail, as you know, I have been a cancer support group facilitator for a couple of decades now and I will tell you that I have time and time again seen cancer help people become all of the things you described and so much more… #Grateful for you! 😊
Our lives are punctuated, even embossed, by events of varying magnitudes. Your ability to reframe this “invader vanquishing” event as both character-defining and friendship building informs what I choose to do with my own occurrences.
Right now I can hear “TubThumping” playing softly in the background. Somewhere between the theme to Rocky and KumBayYa!
Thank you for highlighting Gary’s share! I agree — quote and refrigerator worthy. 💜♥️💚
I continue to be pointed toward this lesson: Our lives, especially the challenges within, come as tools of transformation. We can allow them to make us bitter, or learn from them, making us better. Transformed.

I think it was about a 6x18 sign, Gary. The letters in caps were larger and in fancy script. I would have gifted it to my wife, except we’re already out of wall space AND we’re supposed to be downsizing! 🙁
Feet, not inches, right? Such accolades, justly directed, deserve all the wall space they need. With thoughtful winnowing (framed art behind the sofa?) the deserved space can be found. Perhaps the beginning of a feng shui practice? (harmonizing individuals with their surrounding environment) Maintaining harmony with Deb doesn't seem to have a downside I can think of! After downsizing, this work could be the full extent of art displayed. Messaging + feng shui = eternal bliss!

Mary Ellen — Thank you for your observation! You’re right on in that c has offered me lots of learning and growth opportunities!
I’m grateful for your support!
Every good wish to you Gail for the coming days. You and the muses rock! 💚🌸
Right back at you Margaret! 💜♥️🎉
All the best with your final infusion Gail.
Thanks Kathy!

Final infusion!!!! Yes to that. The bracelets are beautiful.
Thanks Billie! 💜♥️💚
Voluntary poisoning 😂
Pfff you find jokes everywhere.
The bracelets are great. What lovely gifts they are.
And take all the time you need, of course!
Thank you Marijke!
Whatever doesn’t kill us makes is stronger? 😬💪🏻😂
Whatever doesn’t kill us gives us something to write about! 😁 (Dang, that could have been a button!)
I once read a thought from Seth Godin (I think 🤷♀️). He said writing is organized thinking.
Not only is it that, but it also gives me an opportunity to dive deep into feelings and emotions.
I knew when I received my diagnosis, writing through c was a must. 😊
Today was a very full day for me… You too!
There is a picture waiting for you in a text thread!
#Conquered # Vanquished 💜💚❤️
I did it… 10 Chemo infusions. I am grateful for all of the support I have been gifted along the way!
Thanks Bobby!!! 💚♥️💜
You may have cancer but it will NEVER have YOU!
What cancer Cannot Do

In my experience, cancer has helped me to be more loving, more hopeful, strengthened my faith, grown my confidence.

I’m humming along. All the best!
Choosing love over fear has made all the difference!

Gary-

Thank you, Bobby. You’re kind in saying that. Being part of this 3mm community is my inspiration.
Yay! 🎉
Your comment is an affirmation that my “doing” has value to a community beyond myself.
Isn’t that grand?
Thank you Gary for your generous shares in 3mm comments. They are gifts to all who visit!

Thank you for this amazing share Jack!
Smiling big!
If that had been a “Button” message?? Trying to picture the size of the button? Its message, size notwithstanding, is the bees’ knees!🤗
