A note from LoveLetterist:

I started following a ballerina account on Instagram.

I'm not a dancer, but appreciate beauty in effort when I see it.

I loved ballet when I was a child. I did pointe for several years. I really enjoyed it. I love your art today Gail. It's beautiful. Thank you.

I was able to “dance” through some classes at our community recreation program — only a one or two winter sessions. Pointe shoes were an unrealized wish. I was meant for other things!

Through the same rec program, I won “camper of the year” two years in a row. I might still have the trophies. Apparently that left a big impression on me. 😂

Did you dance in recitals? Of performances like The Nutcracker or Swan Lake?

A couple of years ago I went with a friend to an outdoor dance performance. It was a mix of classic and modern dance. It was fascinating!

Hi Gail,

Love this! "Camper of the year." :) I did do dance recitals. We had one at the end of the school year. It was so fun to dress up and be on stage. I didn't do anything big like The Nutcracker but I was fine with that. :)

I enjoy watching now. It is amazing.

Your (The Muses and you) gorgeous painting brought to mind Juice Newton’s version of “Just call me angel of the morning.” Do lingerie ads feature angels? I don’t have much experience in that domain.

Juxtaposing Robert Colliers remark that success is the sum of small parts, with Tal’s reference to da Vinci raised this question: is it possible da Vinci was born prewired for his artistic skills. A very old soul? Or did he practice and develop his skills incessantly? Like a certain LoveLetterist we all know and admire.

Today’s musical selections were both successful in “getting my motor running.” (From Easy Rider: Get your motor running, Get out on the highway, Looking for adventure, And whatever comes my way, We gotta go and make it happen...) The joy of music! All kindsa kinds.

In the not so distant past, Victoria’s Secret had an ad campaign featuring winged models.

Great question about pre-wiring and “old soul”. I feel like I have experienced young people who are seasoned and wise beyond their chronos. That said… How would I know? 😂

Thanks for sharing the Easy Rider lyrics! Make it happen indeed. And when the answer is no, find a different way to move forward!

I’ve heard people say, “God always answers prayers. Sometime the answer is no.”

Indeed! I have experienced this “no” I believe. I consider it to be an opportunity for re-direction toward something better — better aligned to the self or to the whole. That is at our higher power’s discretion?
