A note from LoveLetterist:

In seventh grade, no boys tried out for the school play.

I earned the role of Tom Sawyer.

There's an old snapshot somewhere of me on stage wearing a straw hat. 😂

We never know when something stored in our memory bank will be useful!

Today at 10:00 Central I'm reading Chapter 17 from POISE live. (link below)

This chapter features Jack Helocker, who was here every day in 3mm comments, lifting my thoughts throughout cancer treatment.

Can you come?

Way cool! Well, all of what you wrote. You as Tom Sawyer? A perfect fit. That somewhere photo? More than a couple followers (besides Izzie and I) would give anything to see it. 👀

Jack Herlocker as your reliable thought lifter? From his comments I’ve read over the course of 3MM, I can’t think of anyone who could do a better job. You were dealt four Aces.

I'll see if I can track the photo down. I have a good idea of where to look. Nia's organization comes in handy. 😉

Four aces indeed. Maybe even two deck's worth? Eight aces?

No worries. It’s actually a gift to be able to practice extending the invitation while playing to a small crowd. Low pressure learning. 😉

See you when you can join!

P.S. If you see a fit in your travels, will you share the link?

Sooo, the peppermint candies aren’t Tal’s cup of tea? (Hoping for a flow of ginger snaps? Chocolate bunnies?-It won’t be long, Tal.) The music video for today’s art theme was an upbeat perfect match! As was the Julie Andrews’ clip.

So much to love as this new day begins. Thanks for the boost!

Tal is an equal opportunity sweet eater although, if given a choice, she'd choose the gingersnap.

Alexandra Cooks has two enticing bar recipes in today's newsletter. We might have to give them a go!

Regardless of variety, I picture gooey fingers! Remember when licking beaters and fingers was how baking was done? Now it’s “Warning, Warning. Raw eggs!” How would you bake a yummy cake with scrambled eggs? Give me eggs from hens that eat bugs! 😊

I always licked the beaters as a kid! And the bowl too.🤭

We have bug eating chickens in our neighborhood.

The “Free Range” variety? Able to amble about without protests that the chickens are eating ornamental or garden veggies. My bias is their main focus on insects helps control the bug populations! 😊

Free during the day. In a coop at night because of predators I think.
