Connection. What does it mean? For starters it is the theme of the most books on the closest shelf in my office library. Yours prompted me to grab a few in this stack. At the top is "The Broken Heart, The Medical Consequences of Loneliness" by James J. Lynch. The first edition was 1977. As best I can tell everything written about "connect" affirms what was written there and what we already know to be true. Love connecting with you on this day.

Your stack of books puts me mind of two separate things you guided me to:

Martin Buber’s I/Thou

and

The spaces in between things—including people. That’s where love is?

If I recall Buber spoked to life as along a narrow ridge. Along that ridge we lived our lives as our "conversation with G_d". The reference you made is he said that we humans were gifted with the ability to communicate in order to make the space and time in each moment between us holy. All if this is paraphrased from my faulty, fading memory. If he didn't say things quite that way he should have!

Lee Thayer’s book taught me that readers are the co-authors of any text they read. Does the same apply to shared ideas? I paraphrase a lot and speak from how something made me feel… sometimes I wander from the details. It reminds me of the “telephone game” from my youth.

What a lovely photo to head up today’s LoveLetter, Gail. The blending of Nature’s gifts with the living skills of human hands seems a fitting metaphor for living in balance with Mother Earth.

I stared at “packzi” with quizzical brow. Do I know what that is? Powdered sugar and lemon-filled? Sheepishly I remembered seeing such desserts only a day ago at a grocery store! Apple-filled, 4 to a box. What would we call confectioner’s sugar if that wasn’t already its name. I feel certain Tal might have some ideas about this. 😊

Amply inspired by today’s hearts and confections, stimulated by the earlier “Mind of Curiosity” room, let’s all enjoy this very day! 💗🎵💃

That photo is from 2017. It’s a dandy. That’s back when I was still wandering the marsh with Mara. ❤️

I guess prune is traditional? I purchased a variety pack with lemon, raspberry, and Bavarian cream. Last night near the yoga studio I saw a new shop going in. It will sell “bubble tea”. I had no idea what that is until a fellow yogi said it’s tea with tapioca balls in it. 🤔 I’ll have to try it when they open.
