Typist wonders… Why is Calliope making up a story of bothering when the reality might be — caregivers will feel seen, heard, and grateful to be asked?

All of life is a story... The good news is, there’s at least four of you holding the pen which means you “get to” write your own story and create your own ending! AND, every day is a blank canvas!

“When writing the story of your life, don’t let anyone else hold the pen.” ~Harley Davidson

Regarding your caregivers... Most will be honored and will FEEL exactly what you described!

BTW, if Thalia gets a little overzealous, just remember, it’s because she “sees” the outcome before it materializes in the physical realm...

She has the attractor factor!

One gift of the muses is the separation from the ego they provide. Hearing them allows me to keep moving forward… mostly setting fear aside. 👍🏻

I’m real curious to watch and engage with the results of this experiment!

Thanks Bobby!

I'm so excited about this new venture, Gail!! Will the focus be on caregiving, starting with your specific caregivers? I'm sure they'll have lots to say and will appreciate the outlet in which to express it. Yay you!

This is originating from a desire to add my caregiver’s voices to the book. It has come to my attention that many healthcare workers are under a lot of pressure and stress. I want them to feel seen and heard.

Fascinating! Yesterday you said you didn’t know where the four of you are going. Today you’re going to Katmandu. (Can’t Can Do)

Not that long ago we contemplated “SAD” lights for winter doldrums. Now you’re focused on growing. Using a “Grow Light!” (Aside: I’m pretty sure the Grow Light is not for an indoor grow operation, but rather a shift in state of mind🤔)

Passport renewal? Bingo! Handy for either Katmandu, Spain, or Kathmandu, Nepal! If the latter, maybe some time with The Dali Lama would help in plotting your course?

Cal, there’s a biblical quotation, “Seek and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you.” Seek some of Tal’s believing. Now, let the syrup cooking begin! 🧑‍🍳

Kathmandu! 😂 You’re funny!

Grow light is stepping out! It’s almost spring.

I might faint in the presence of the Dali Lama. I once read a piece written by an airline stewardess who served the DL on a flight. She said something like — being in his presence engendered immediate feelings of calm, joy, and peace.

As for what might befall you in the presence of DL, remember his delightful interactions with Desmond Tutu? He might ask you to perform a favorite dance or game from your childhood. 🤷🏽 So he could dance/play with you! While he may be old, he’s not blind, and can see the child like wonder written all over your face and soul.

Recently heard a song (wish I would have taken note!) that talked about seeing past the bluster? Yuck? to the divinity that lies beyond in a person. What a gift!

Who doesn’t have a little yuck that needs seeing beyond?

George Carlin: “If the professor on Gilligan’s Island can make a radio out of a coconut, why can’t he fix a hole in a boat?” 😁

Love the O’Keeffe quote! Mostly because it's totally true.

For a lot of years I mulled my (somewhat misunderstood?) explorations of the eastern philosophies of “non-doing”. What I now believe is… those teachings and mullings were needed for my growth before any doing of real value might commence. 🤷‍♀️
