A note from Loveletterist:

Ever taken a dog out to do her business when the snow is deeper than the dog's height?

One could choose to find this frustrating...

because the dog is stubborn and insists on finding her own way and time to accomplish what needs to occur...

OR

one can accept the cards that are dealt

and be glad to still be on the board

playing with the pieces

at her disposal.

Have you dared to share that outlook with Henrietta? I believe you could be kindly persuasive. 🥶

The next 3-4 days are gonna be interesting! Snow so deep it’s a real challenge to navigate — with high temps below 10 degrees.

Wish me luck?!

That James Taylor song was a heart-warming delight. The harmonies and lack of ear splitting accompaniment was the best. I fondly remember seeing him perform at our Civic Auditorium in the early to mid nineties.

Dean Martin sang: “Oh the weather outside is frightful, But the fire is so delightful, Since we’ve no place to go, Let it snow let it snow let it snow!” I can imagine occasional humming of that tune as the day snows on. 😊

With the watercolor pencils, camaraderie, and bright spirits, anything is possible! Someone surely will enjoy a test fitting of the beautiful vest (due to the arms I’m not certain; let’s call it a garment?🤭)

A parka… image nicked from IG. Perhaps their version was computer generated?
