1. I have tons of energy for perusing and picking inexpensive items to create with. What might have looked like aimless wandering of aisles was building a foundation for what will grow into a whimsical book.
2. "It's not true that life is one damnn thing after another -- It's one damn thing over and over." Edna St. Vincent Millay
You might recall I recently engaged with an instructional watercolor book only to put it back on the shelf?
Yesterday I checked out a poetry handbook from the library. I'm so glad I didn't buy it because trying to express myself while having to consider mute consonants, semi-vowels, and aspirates -- makes me want to go mute myself.
I much prefer the simple idea that poetry happens when -- love and words combine.
What a visually delicious treat today! The wild surf echoes Dorothy Parker’s approach to being creative. And yours. You certainly used your eye and steady hand to blend the colors and movement to create your visual expression today! Without the aid of Minions. Only Muses.
I enjoyed learning about Austin Kleon’s use of gardening details in his writing. Everything can be this. Everything can be that.
Everything and the kitchen sink! A fine Kohler single-bowl model at that. 😊
I wondered if you’ve considered wearing a Go-Pro camera on shopping trips like yesterday’s? Smile! You’re on candid camera! 🤔 In truth, I think your modus operandi has worked like a charm!
A note from LoveLetterist:
Many things happened yesterday.
Here are two experiences that I learned from.

Know thyself!
I prefer your idea about poetry, too, Gail!
❤️
I took the idea from a poem written by my friend Rachel.
Ava the Poet
As best I know, it’s not published publicly anywhere.

That’s supposed to be purple mountains and a night sky. I was thinking of Montana. The image needs more context. I was short on time. 🤷♀️
Have an amazing Friday! 😁

Alan Fundt dances so often in my mind’s eye!
As does the grocery aisle scene from the movie Oh God! George Burns face up in the mirror. 😁
