I would almost think Paintist has been Practicing! Today’s picture is so colorful and detailed. Nia’s remarks strike me as an effort to avoid deeper feelings by being critical of external topics. “No matter where I go, there I am.”

Tal’s balloon bouquet is quintessential Tal! Not a display of counter-phobic behavior. Simply her choice to live in beauty and joy. Her “Bearable Lightness of Being.” (Sorry for the appropriation of words)

Cal still seems a bit unsettled in her processing of all this new news, but I feel quite certain that her two fellow Muses, and Paintist, will support her relaxing into this new normal.

Last but not least, Paintist/Typist welcomely addressed some of my head scratching. How to be; what to say? Thinking and writing without restraint seemed unwise, but where’s the line? What humor is too dark? When is humor inappropriate? When is the desire to be supportive really being nosey? When is a life-affirming verse unwelcome? Or picture?

Just in case the Muses need a jump start today, or any other day, look up “The Name Game,” by Shirley Ellis, on YouTube. I’m certain Tal will be twirling in no time! Maybe even Paintist?

Paintist feels for Urania... We CAN do better. On mornings with Zoom calls, we've no time to be picky though. Paintist used way too big of a brush for the balloons and they exceeded their boundaries.

Tal rolls with whatever comes. Yes.. Cal is still trying to find the ground with her feet. Nia likes things she can control... and there is plenty of that to manage now. It's the messy unknown that turns her into a grump. Good thing her pals know she belongs no matter what.

Appreciate all of your questions. Here Paintist is painting with a new brush, learning to set aside her people pleasing ways, and learning to be forthcoming with her true feelings. She understands she cannot control the feelings of others though, no matter how softly she speaks her truth. This will be challenging as she never intends to hurt anyone. So... It is a practice. Communication as a practice.

A gerund and an infinitive walk into a bar, drinking to drink. 😁

Not sure how I feel about "Paintist" yet (nor does my spell-checker), but if you can't reinvent yourself at will in your own blog, what's the point of having one?

Ooooh! Gerund is totally new to me!

I keep thinking it looks like “pianist”…All of life is an experiment! Ha! It’s my blog and I can make up words if I want to! 😂

Earlier today before proofreading my reply I nearly sent: Painist… probably a different genre! 😂🤣😂

Well… The muses have talked it over and are considering something else. Artist? Watercolorist? Painter? Multimediaist?

We’ll keep keep playing with it!

“I’ve been capturing ascending thoughts about our current reality. One — We’ve got a pass on the dentist until this all wraps up. Two — This is an opportunity to cash in on a lifetime of insurance payments.”

Bubbles, thought bubbles? Balloons?

Love it! Bravo!

And Paintist?

I wonder what happens when you cross a Paintist with an Inspirationalist?

Hmmm? 🤔

A Typist, Paintist, and Inspirationalist walk into a Zoom Room...

I am reminded of the canvas in my hallway. Once truly blank, Inspirationalist assembled vinyl letters on said blank canvas so they would read:

“EVERY DAY IS A BLANK CANVAS.”

Inspirationalist now loosely refers to the blank canvas as art… 🖼

How come?

Truth be told... I have no idea what is going to happen on the financial side of this. Two days after my MRI I got a notice that I was approved to get the MRI. I give myself hives if I think about the statements and bills that will be passing through my mailbox.

Blessed to have a husband who said, "The money doesn't matter."

"I give myself hives if I think about the statements and bills that will be passing through my mailbox." Good enough reason NOT to think about it. Worrying could be an enemy.
