Typist here...

Many years ago, I discussed neck and shoulder pain I was experiencing with a yoga instructor. She explained that she could see my shoulders curving in toward the front of my core. "Protecting your big heart," she said. What a beautiful way to tell me something was out of balance! One thing led to another and eventually I found Nia and Thalia to balance out Calliope's big heart.

What in your life is talking to you -- nudging you to make a shift?

Life is indeed a journey, not a race.

Let us remember this for ourselves... and for everyone we touch.

I joined a training gym several years ago. The owner asked me how tall I was. I asked why.He said, “You are slouching.” This question became the measure of my progress. Stand tall.

I read about developments with AI from time to time. Major players in our digital world, like Microsoft and Google are falling all over themselves to be the king, while META seems confused with their efforts. I smiled when I read a serious review by a tech writer saying he interacted with ChatGPT and realized some responses he received were guesses! Plausible but incorrect...

So I greatly prefer writing prepared by people, and Muses. I think we remember, as children, entertaining ourselves with imagined playmates and the space under a table drooped with a blanket. We acted as the generators of ideas and scenarios. Developed healthy imagination. What will result from the children of today being fed canned notions without their brains equally being challenged to create their own?

Many parents today, juggling jobs, after school sports and enrichment activities, struggle just to show up with takeout. Family discussions over dinner? So old fashioned. It’s easy to see the appeal of AI to help with homework, “read” essays, etc. A dearth of actual humanity.

What nudges me these days? Unlike the Gary of old, all facts and figures, my growing intuitive self is becoming willing to discover “coincidences” and converging information from diverse sources. Not always promptly, I now choose to act on them. Seek additional information/ideas. Follow the Yellow Brick Road.

Personally I have been finding much joy (and fun!) in following my intuition and synchronicities.

I’m not always tuned to the “forward” station, but I always learn something and it seems there’s always a chance to try again.

Regardless of the genius of AI, it is still machine work. The challenge is not to mimic the mimicry of a machine, but discover or rediscover how art defines our humanity. Our better selves will emerge from this challenge.

I couldn’t agree more.

The clip from TWoW was great to watch. Joyous I might say. Wondrous to see what the human brain can create. No AI needed!

Clever.

HI begins with "Hi there, I'm ..."

What does AI begin with? "Click here?"

I've yet to experience intentional interaction with AI. I suspect it can do some really amazing things?

I suspect some version of AI runs the algorithms that rule social media. Whether true or not, I do not know. However, I make the assumption that it is and so I am skeptical the purpose of what appears on my screen.

Ahhhh! I think many are skeptical of what appears in their screens.

What if instead of an AI driven algorithm, what appears in our screens is tailored for us by the Great Mystery?

😂 Me either!!! I will continue to try to improve, and yet there is warmth and joy in accepting this repeated foible of mine. 🤷‍♀️

In the last few days I have been thinking about James Herriot’s delicious books. Siegfried with his unruly pack of poochies and Tristan who is always stirring up a silly kerfuffle. Perfect is boring and intimidating?
