Never one to hold back good news, Thalia looked like a water balloon that needed to be removed from the hose nozzle. “Glorious! Fabulous! Fantastico!”
Nia annotated the calendar. “Last chemotherapy infusion July twenty-eighth. Lumpectomy August thirtieth, and radiation in October. Keep going!”
Cal’s thoughts flittered like a wren to the warnings and what-ifs a physician is bound to share regarding treatment. “Be here now,” she said. “Tomorrow will take care of itself.”
Words from Typist:
The news from the surgeon yesterday was a delight!
My MRI scan from February, side-by-side with last Friday’s scan, was like looking at an in-the-shell-walnut compared to the head of a tacking pin. I am wonder-filled at the scientists and doctors who work to create and administer effective treatments for disease.
Life savers!
I want to thank the Ukranian Library Association that put out a message in late February 2022. Because of Russia’s invasion, the group had to cancel their forthcoming conference. The message read:
We will reschedule just as soon as we have finished vanquishing our invaders.
I love librarians! They gave my a rallying cry for my dance with “c”.
