Thalia flips through their quote filled legal pad. “Heeeeeere it is! Meditations from the Mat — page 130 — ‘Act as if you trust your God.’ ~ Anonymous”
Nią reads over Tal’s shoulder. “In order for what we receive in our lives to flourish, we must take the next step: we must share our gifts with the world.”
Calliope fidgets and scratches absently at her forearm. Looking back over their life, she sees dots connecting into an image that unsettles her. The only way to learn the story’s end… is to keep reading.
To be spiritual is to act like an adult, to take responsibility for one’s actions, to manifest love in one’s interactions. ~ Rolf Gates
But Gail, haven't y'all been sharing your gifts for a bit of time now?
Reading 3MM is not unlike being one of the birds in Hansel and Gretal. Searching for and finding the “crumbs” marking the trail.
Links sprinkled in without fanfare. As a curious and hungry bird more often than not, I find some crumbs and expand my day’s reading. I suppose that is writer-author-painter-speaker’s way of knowing the river keeps flowing just as she keeps growing?
With well-nourished birds to show for it. 🤭
In Brett Young’s lyrics I thought I heard some of your themes from both books already written, blog posts (here), and appearances on other folk’s blogs. A second song, same album, is “Don’t Want To Write This Song.” It speaks to me of challenges, acceptance, courage. More GB? Life’s lessons abound, to learn and give back.
Grateful. 🙏🏽
