After jimmying the hour hand on our clocks recently (most clocks today are amputees…) a trip to a museum sounds wonderful! The holdings of most museums span decades, yes, centuries, and offer a valuable context for daylight saving time.
Your remark about judging by and for yourself rings of the similar expression, “To thine own self be true.” That you noted not seeing any need to invalidate the opinion of another well advised us about most life circumstances. Judge, jury, and executioner requires too many garments and paraphernalia to result in light travels. Bon voyage!
