Thalia scratches her neck and contemplates. “I think — we might spend more time on shaaaa-ding.”
“Depth,” Nia clears her throat, “— and dimension.”
“I’m glad…” Calliope rests her chin on her palm, “… there are always new frontiers… to grow into.”
You have an ideal in your mind, and you’re measuring yourself against your ideal, rather than against the actual progress you’ve made. This is why you are unhappy with what you’ve done, and it’s probably why you are unhappy with everything in your life. Don’t let your past be forgotten. Always measure backward.
~Dan Sullivan
A note from LoveLetterist:
I once read that it is easier to copy from a 2D image because the artist (or camera) who came before you has already translated 3D to 2D. I found that fascinating!
In all fairness, today's Christmas Cat was created on the fly. I have a HAIRCUT appointment this morning. I still am incredibly grateful to have added that back into my routine post-bald stage of life.
:)
The muses might take tomorrow off.
We'll see what the morning brings.
Our magnum opus is graduating (with honors 😊) from university. 🎉
Is it just me, or is 2D cat glaring at 3D cat? 🤔 (a lot of times it’s just me, no worries)
