“I feel dizzy.” Calliope held her stomach.
Thalia pirouetted on her pink pointe shoes. “Is it my twirling? Do you want me to stop?”
“No… Not your twirling… although your constant movement is a bit of a distraction.” Calliope set her chin on her palm. “Yes. Please stop.”
Thalia slid onto a chair with the grace of cheetah climbing a tree. “What’s the problem?”
“No problem. Quite the opposite. All of this white space and possibility swirling about us,” Cal sighed. “I feel like I’m with Typist on the Tilt-A-Whirl or Scrambler.”
Urania set her reading glasses on the table. “Take a few deep breaths. We’re going do this nice and slow. We can learn out loud, make mistakes, pivot when we see a better way.”
Cal’s face shifted from green to peach. “Okay. Yes… nice and slow.”
Thalia threw her dance bag over her shoulder and called on her way out of the door, “We are beyond grateful for the ten subscribers who signed up to play with us yesterday! Thank you.”
Readers… Will you give us a thumbs up or thumbs down in comments — Do you like white text on a black background?
👍 😁
Here’s what occurred to me: Creative Force/Typist had to be contemplative and considerate to welcome readers both new and established from BFN. For ones new to The Muses, lacking backstory, you were faced with crafting fresh energy for the characters. Offering a taste of Muses’ personalities and how they experience the vicissitudes of life.
Established readers 🤚may have recognized both old traits but with more of a group dynamic among the Muses.
As I’ve confessed in the past, if I don’t really know the facts, I make them up! Of course the enterprise of being a writer-painter-creative precludes divulging trade secrets to comment on this speculation! 😉
👎 Feels… dark 🥱😴
