“Well… That was delightful!” Thalia licked chopped peanuts and vanilla icing from a still-full Styrofoam tray.
“Ewww… Knock it off!” Urania scolded. “Those are for everyone… not just you.”
Blushing, Thalia set the tray back on the counter.
“Sunshine drenched drive, great music on the stereo, lunch with Dad, Jean, and Typist’s brother — a trifecta of goodness,” Cal said. “Sometimes seeing is believing? I think Dad felt reassurance in seeing our Typist’s pink cheeks and toothy smile.”
Nia rested her chin on her hands and looked into the distance. “C’s reach extends beyond the patient?”
Thalia brought a heaping forkful of peanut square to her lips. “Thank goodness we wrote about Jerry’s bakery in Chapter 23 of Meandering Muses! Every time we see Dad now… he’s going to stock us up with dreamy white bread and peanut squares. Now there’s some delectable extension beyond our book!”
Love that toothy smile! 💜
You look great Gail!
