A rabbit races across Brookside Circle with a furred and pointy-eared pursuer at the tip of its cotton tail. “Cahy-o-teee? Or Lena?” Nia notices their neighbor and calls to him. “Was that Lena?” “Yeah — she’s after a bunny. Living her best life.” The Belgian Malinois returns empty-jawed across the silent Sunday asphalt and leaps feet off the ground after a squirrel only she can see.
America’s TED Talk and Mitch’s LinkedIn post dovetailed well. She didn’t suggest that being perfect was required for claiming her superpower!
Nor did Mitch encourage us to continue comparing our unique selves with others in our self talk. Seems he believes that strutting our stuff should be the order of our days. 👍🏽
Hey Loveletterist! Thanks for the view from the canopy. 😁 I remember reading long ago about animal communities, likely in rainforests, that spend their lives in the forest’s canopy. Considering that most such species are prey for the predators walking the forest floors it made perfect sense!
While I may have been a bit playful to call you a canopy dweller, there was an air today of being in a state of mind (the canopy?) that offered a wholistic perspective of all the interactions.
Connectications? Within the Muse trio, connections with the animal and human world around all ya’ll, and squarely planted in that very moment.
And what a better place to be planted than “now” where the past and future don’t exist! Do I hear a foot pump airing up the paddle board? 😁
Tasty Tidbits from Loveletterist
1.) I found this 4 minute excerpt from America Ferrera's TED talk to be eye opening. "My identity is my superpower."

2.) Synchronously, Mitch Davidowitz wrote about strutting our stuff. The image he connected with the article is worth a click!

Spotify made a ring suggestion and Thalia added it to the playlist quicker than an ice cube would melt on our deck today. It’s hot!

I’m far back in the digital literacy queue! A “ring suggestion” is?
A typo! 😂 I meant to type song.

Now is our favorite place to be!
The four of you on the deck, lemonade in hand, brainstorming 3MM episodes is a delightful mental image. 😎

The Belgian Malinois... 🤯
Amazing dogs! Lena is quite sweet and she and Henny are friends. 😁
Very cool dog! I’m trying to imagine what would happen if the dog caught the ball at the top of the tall pole?
I love that the dog trusts(?) that it will be caught!
A nicely choreographed skill display! The human “boulder” seemed to rise slightly to give the dog a boost?
Shooooor does! Thanks for pointing that out. 😁
Interesting to me that a perfectly timed rise can factor into an overall team effort. Playing 3rd B-flat clarinet in an orchestra?
