“They-rrrrz no place I’d raaa-thur be!” Thalia hums as she paints.
Nią searches for synonyms. “Me neither.”
Calliope sips coffee and anticipates today’s One Line, One Love conversation with Jay Armstrong. “All is right… in our world.”
Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
~Howard Thurman
A note from LoveLetterist:

A quick side note on my part. Listening to Karen Carpenter’s voice and words was complicated by my knowing of her life-ending struggle with anorexia. This in no way is intended to criticized today’s fine post. Rather an observation about connection, self acceptance, and belonging. All traits that support living in gratitude for others, our lives.
More on topic, I love the Angel, Karen’s?, sitting on top of the world! Tal’s remark warmed me both literally and figuratively. Nią’s struggle to select a synonym makes perfect sense. Calliope’s saying “all is right in our world” reminds me of having a mixture of gratitude and hope in our hearts.
The quote alone by Howard Thurman offers a fine formula for how to live our lives. Reading in WiKi offered a rich context for his life’s work. Thank you so very much, Gail! 😊
