“They’ll believe us.” Nią clears her throat. “We’ve proven ourselves trustworthy.”
To be trusted is a greater compliment than being loved.

A note from Loveletterist:
Aaaaack!
Day five's video balances on a metaphor.
I planted morning glory seeds nearly a decade ago and have not planted another since. And yet, every year a morning glory vine pops up somewhere in a pot or flower bed -- re-seeded by Mother Nature. I trust she's got a better handle on gardening than I ever will!
In the video I ask: Where do you have the tenacity to keep popping up?
First I recorded using the "clips" Apple app on my phone, instead of "Zoom clips beta". All fine and good until I tried to create a link for the video using Dropbox -- numerous times! The computer gremlins laughed at me.
I brought the laptop outside and recorded again using "Zoom clips beta". The computer gremlins are rolling on the ground in fits of mirth as the "processing" clock spins without signs of yielding. 🤷🏻♀️
All this to say. We did it and will share the video if it ever becomes available.
We have a book to publish and refuse to spend anymore time in a tug of war with naughty gremlins. 😜
Grateful for our relationship of trust!
A “StillLife” is Still Life! Responding to the morning glory photo. I’ve always been dazzled by those bluish beauties! There’s almost an “electrified violet” hue to my less than perfect color detection cones. 🤷🏽
Dazzling just the same.
“You can’t have too much Morning Glory
If your life is filled with Joy
A picture here and videos there
Soon you’ll see their trumpets everywhere.”
(Found written on a hawk feather that fell from the sky yesterday 😎)
For the record, you and the Band of Muses have proven your trustworthiness over and over. 👏🏼👏🏼
