A note from LoveLetterist:

Imagine a deer in headlight look...

Three of us are wearing it. (C, U, and LL)

Creating awareness feels daunting for all but Thalia. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Some of you are helping us! 🎉

We feel the warmth of your embrace.

Thank you for inviting others to Poise with your comments, reviews, blog posts, and photos.

My friend Billie Short shared a taste of Poise with readers of her blog conversation4change. She speaks to the hearts of caregivers. I hope they hear the message that they are valuable, appreciated, and essential to those who need them.

Reading your remark sparked a mental image of a smooth rock striking the water of a still lake. Ripples spreading to the horizon. I’ll gladly sign up for ripple duty. 😊

Hmmm... Perhaps one can think of the box of LoveLetterist’s latest book as both a gift from the Universe and back to same? Wonderfully, in the song “Woodstock” by Joni Mitchell, she refers to us/all as billion year old carbon!

Reading Tolle’s remark, from what I’ve learned about this author, I can say she has learned a lot about being at ease. As for “not knowing” I’d rephrase that. Active exploration accompanied by doing seems to be her M.O. Somewhere along the line patience and perseverance became a couple of her great allies. Not to suggest the Muses are headed for the door! After all the Muses provided the run up to my banter. 😊

I love the idea of that reciprocal gift! ∞

This morning I experienced some technical difficulties in writing 3mm. I headed off to the ice age trail for a romp with Hen and when I came back, we were back in business. Somehow allowing the trio to have an open conversation grounds me for other activities. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Did you know that poets who were kind enough to leave their work behind for each of us to discover at an appropriate time, can open a door to a world we might not otherwise consider, simply because they invited us in to explore?

“I look upon time as no more than an idea, and I consider eternity as another possibility.”

"To see the world in a grain of sand or to behold a rainbow in the sky..."

~Joyce Sutphen

Even the sun is something to behold, perhaps especially, when she is playing

"hard to get."

Can we, do we experience sunrise 🌄 whether the sun actually reveals herself or not?

Unseen and yet experienced fully in her expression...

#BeholdTheOrdinary

If I could post a picture...

Imagine instead it’s time for the sun to rise... It’s partly cloudy 🌤️ the sky overhead is clear, but the valley itself is ringed in clouds. You wonder if the sun will have the power to break through? She does not, and yet, her magnificence is experienced in the hues she casts upon the clouds that suddenly turn a golden tangerine orange...

Behold!

Great readings for a weary cook. I prepared a nice (?) dinner for my wife’s former boss and her husband. Long stretches on my feet don’t turn out well recently. Luckily my dear wife was my able bodied assistant. As we speak, it’s (dinner😉) headed out the door. I’ve made this dish for us before and both of us survived. 😊

Mary Oliver is a poetess whose work I’ve not explored before. The quote of hers you offered us is enticing. Food for thought? More like a food truck full of tantalizing choices. 🙏🏽

You might view me as one of the birds in the forest, following Hansel and Gretel. Enjoying the trail of breadcrumbs they left as they walked. Let’s try pumpernickel next! 😁

I’m delighted to hear that Leonardo Da Vinci’s advice smoothed that out.

What was his advice, please?

In Wayne Dyer’s book, “Wisdom of the Ages,” I found Da Vinci advising us to step away from our work. “Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer; since to remain constantly at work will cause you to lose power of judgment.

However that may have influenced your decision to take the crew to the marsh, your decision had the desired effect! 😉
