Thalia snips a straw and inserts a pinwheel. “A laaaa-lee-pop forest!”
Nia adds some pines to make the image rhyme with reality — so that others might see it, too.
“When we work together…” Calliope relishes the sweetness of a harmonious project, “the possibilities… are infinite.”
I hope that we don’t lose sight of one thing — that it was all started by a mouse.
~Walt Disney
The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless.
~Jean-Jacques Rosseau
A note from LoveLetterist:
How might
you bring
a few lollipops
into
today?
“Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows…” (Thank you Leslie Gore). I realize the rainbows haven’t arrived yet, and I’m thinking Thalia could dash one off in a New York minute!
An observation: I receive an email that includes your entire post. I can read the post in its entirety. To comment I’m taken to Substack. The contrast in color saturation is remarkable. Images in Google email are not unpleasant, but certainly far less vibrant than on the stack. Not only on my phone. Laptop as well. 🤔🤷🏽
Calliope readily noted the sweetness of harmonious efforts. Boy Howdy! The results have been demonstrated with more compact and powerful writing; painting-sketching-watercoloring along with finding tools that serve y’all well, and now samples of other media to enhance your work and spread the word. Not at all unlike Walt Disney’s reference to the mouse.
Day after Valentine’s Day, or any other day, Brava!
