Nia shifts her focus from pantry to mudroom. Holding up a flip-flop riddled with Henny’s dental impressions she asks, “We never wear these — stay or go?”
“Staaaay!” Thalia is loathe to let go — of anything.
“Go. We never wear that pair… One shoe…” Cal bends over and slips them on, “… turns inward at the heel. Let’s keep what fits…”
“And let go of what does not.” Urania nods.
Thalia drums her fingers on studio’s tabletop.
Calliope rests a hand on top of Tal’s. “Now that we’re clearing space… We get to try on more shoes!”
“Yaaaay! Adventure!”
Relationship has significance only when it is a process of self-revelation.

We will discover the nature of our particular genius when we stop trying to conform to our own or to other people’s models, learn to be ourselves, and allow our natural channel to open.

The post linked above (about fear) coordinates with today’s muse conversation. Thalia is afraid to let go, but when she sees that space makes room for adventure, her perspective shifts.
JK’s quote is a perfect segue into Sg’s! (I have a hunch that’s not accidental🤔)
Gremlins notwithstanding, I’m grateful for Bobby posting the linked quote. If we rush around in daily frenzy, we see little. If we stare at our reflections in the pool, we see nothing.
