🎶 “Evry-bah-dees doooo-in a brand new dance now!” Thalia shook her caboose around the kitchen island. “C’mon babeee do the locum-o-shun.”
“Do you think our 3mm friends will hop on Chris’ invitation?” Cal loved nothing more than connecticating people, ideas, and opportunities. “An opening to ride the rails of gratitude… a chance to… become a published author!”
Urania cleared her throat. “Our readers are a curious and adventuresome lot. What a joy it will be — to read their stories in Gratitude Journey Volume 3.”
Trains are beautiful. They take people to places they’ve never been, faster than they could ever go themselves.

Hmmm... I'm really grateful for my wonderful wife, but I've written and posted that in numerous ways several times over the years. But she keeps coming up with new ways to make me grateful, so maybe...
Not unlike Tal's caboose, I'm shaking my head! How much gratitude is required to be human?! "Well I've tried, and I've tried, and I've tried, and I've tried! I can't get no satisfaction! (Rolling Stones) Oops! That might be the problem. A friend used to say, "We're bypassing contentment on our quest for ecstacy!" Another would say, "Blessed are they who go around in the right circles, for one day they shall be BIG wheels." Parking a "cheek" on the island and savoring the smells from a baking, savory dish to me seems a possible path to gratitude.
